Congrats to the IlluXcon Scholarship winners!

  Just wanted to congratulate the three winners of the IlluXcon scholarship competition. Bernadette Carstensen is a recent grad of the CCAD Illustration department, and no doubt a rising star (not to mention an awesome model.... and no, I have not finished the painting, lol) I'll look forward to meeting Sam Connelly and J.Edwin Stevens at the event. Great work all of you, and I'll see you in November.

Back to the board

Due to my crazy schedule finding time to paint has been tough, but I started back into a piece thats been sitting around the studio. It may take awhile since I can only find small blocks of time, but a little work is better than none at all. I'll keep you all updated.

Hey, what can I say .... It's been raining for two days, and is expected to continue for two more.

This kind of weather tends to make me think of Doom and Gloom!!

Sketch #8- Investment or Money Pit?

I was pondering the question of whether a home is an investment or a "money pit". I just wanted to see if I could find an image that would work with either idea .... money coming in, or going out. I find a certain charm in this one.
